Floating Clock is a menu-bar utility that displays the date, time, world clocks and timers on your Mac. Your privacy matters, and the policy is simple.

No data collection

Floating Clock does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising, and it does not track you in any way.

Everything stays on your Mac

Your settings — such as time zones, timers, colors, positions and hotkeys — are stored locally on your device using the standard macOS preferences system. This information never leaves your Mac.

Network

The app does not require an internet connection to work and does not send your information anywhere. Any purchase or update is handled entirely by the Mac App Store under Apple’s own privacy terms.

Notifications

If you allow it, Floating Clock uses macOS notifications only to alert you when one of your timers finishes. These notifications are generated locally and contain only the information you entered.
